Boxarr’s strategic partnership

Boxarr, a Bristol-based technology solution company, has worked out a strategic partnership for the Indian market, its senior executive said at the Farnborough International Airshow.
Boxarr has formed a partnership with Pune-based Zeus Numerix (ZN), a centre of excellence for design and certification in Aerospace and Defence.
“We think that India has huge opportunities for technologies to help Indian companies do better,” said Boxarr chief executive Alasdair Pettigrew.
“We are offering technology which can help better design the supply chain, complex products, processes, and the way of doing tech-enabled businesses,” he said.
Also, Boxarr is currently looking to work with the likes of Tata Group, Defence Research & Development Organization and other Indian heavyweights involved in the Indian defence equipment manufacturing sector.
“We have a long list of customers for our unique solutions,” added Pettigrew.
Boxarr technology-solutions allows modelling of the most complex systems for big projects, supply chains, engineering of products.
“It adds efficiency and productivity,” stressed Pettigrew, who is also looking to form alliances with India’s technical institutions for R&D work and develop products for the Indian defence sector.
Further, Pettigrew added that “Implementations of Boxarr have delivered businesses rapid Return on Investment (RoI) through improvement in sepeed of accessing critical knowledge, visibility & avoidance of emergink risks and optimisation to enable delivery of projects faster and at lower cost.”
ZN has been in fore-front of niche simulation/analysis technologies for Indian Defence applications since its inception from IIT Bombay in 2004.
ZN has worked with all Defence Research labs and major private and public defence industries but also international players such as Airbus and GM.
It is certified by Indian regulatory body, Center for Military Airworthiness & Certification, for design and certification studies for defence equipment.
India is expected to invest more than US$130 billion in modernization of their armed forces and a make similar investment in the Civil Aviation sector, noted Pettigrew.
Further, the “Make in India” initiative of the government requires a strong local content in products to target the market. This partnership seeks to exploit the complex projects using Boxarr solutions for more effective performance of the projects, he pointed out. fii-news.com
