Four FDIs approved

The government has foreign direct investment (FDI) in four projects including Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd Rs.36 Crore proposal to acquired Imperial Credit Private Limited, an Indian Non-Banking Financial Company.
Approval was also given to:
Oxford University Press’s Rs.44.41 Crore investment subscription to compulsorily convertible preference shares, compulsorily convertible debentures and equity shares;
Quintillion Business Media Pvt. Ltd’s Rs.13.4 Crore for issuance of equity shares to BLOOMBERG relating to news and current affairs television channels;
BMJ Group lndia Pvt Ltd for carrying on the business of printing, publishing and circulating or otherwise dealing in scientific and technical magazines/ specialty journals / periodicals and other publications, but not in any manner dealing with news and current affairs.
