Chief Minister offers state as corporate capital.
Haryana State government has signed five Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with Singapore-based companies for projects worth Rs.18,000 crore of investment in the coming years.
The MoUs were signed on 23 May 2017 during the state’s state chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar first visit to Singapore for studying various aspects of projects.
“We aim at promoting Haryana as a vibrant and competitive destination internationally,” said Manohar Lal.
“We want to offer the State as a corporate capital, as an industrial destination, as a residential and entertainment centre, whereas at the same time, retaining its edge in manufacturing, services and knowledge sectors,” he said.
“It is indeed going to be Destination Haryana all the way during the coming years. A clear vision, political will, good governance, empathy, empowerment, partnerships and creativity will be the keywords to drive the future success of Haryana,” Manohar Lal said.
The MoU signatories will do feasibility and project viability studies especially for developing Aviation Hub, Smart Cities and Industrial Townships.
The MoUs were signed with infrastructure and engineering group, Meinhardt, YCH Logistics for Logistics projects, Ascendas Singhbridge for Townships/Logistics parks development, Adonis for Wellness projects and equity investor Equis Energy which makes investments in a wide range of projects. fii-news.com
