State Budget to fund US$9M for the 5-year programme.
India signs Loan Agreement with the World Bank for US$36 million for “Himachal Pradesh Public Financial Management Capacity Building Program” to improve the efficiency of Public Expenditure Management and Tax Administration.
The agreement was singed for IBRD Credit from World Bank in New Delhi on 31 May 2017.
The $45 million project is to improve the efficiency of Public Expenditure Management and Tax Administration in Himachal Pradesh.
The rest US$9 million will be funded from State Budget for the five year programme.
It is expected to contribute to enhancing efficiency of key departments, improving budget credibility, strengthening systems and procedures to improve fiscal discipline, improving revenue administration to increase fiscal space, and targeted organizational reforms including human resource reforms. fii-news.com
