Paris meeting sees business for French OEMs.
Indian and French aviation officials and experts have evaluated business opportunities in India including for French Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
Surina Rajan, Additional Secretary, Department of Defence Production, has urged the French OEMs to take the opportunity of participating in the defence manufacturing sector.
Rajiv Nayan Choubey, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, said the government was keeping air fares low for viability of civil aviation industry.
India is converting 400 unused Airstrips built during World War II to usable airports for regional connectivity, he said.
