ATC tower completed

Work on the greenfield airport at ParuleChipi in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri districts is progressing well, said Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu.
He reviewed the project where taxi way, apron and isolation bay has been completed and work on the airfield ground lighting is on.
Eighty percent work on construction of passenger terminal building has been completed.
Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower and technical building has been completed and the remaining work will be finished in a month’s time.
The work on construction of ancillary buildings is almost nearing completion and will take a month to finish.
The Rs.520 crore airport will have a 2,500-meter runway which has provision for future extension. Fiinews.com
