Logix India 2020 launched
The Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO) has signed two Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with the Ceylon National Chamber of Industries and Kabul Chamber of Commerce and Industries to further promote commerce and trade.
These were signed at the end of three-day Logix India 2019 on 2 Feb 2019 which was attended by delegates from 27 countries with 130 logistics companies showcasing their services and expertise.
Speaking at the concluding session of the Logix India 2019, N Sivasailam, Special Secretary (Logistics), Department of Commerce, announced Logix India 2020.
Logix India 2020 would be a global event and will be able to create great business opportunity.
The 2020 event is planned for the logistics sector across India and the world.
Over 3,000 business to business meetings along with parallel sessions on different issues and challenges were held at the first edition Logix India 2019.
Stakeholders from member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Iran have shown keen interest in the event.
India, where SMEs has key role; road, rail and other forms of transport make a better option along with logistics and infrastructure in the growth and development of the economy, said FIEO President Ganesh Kumar Gupta.
India is passing through a logistics revolution as about US$500 billion is to be invested in the field of infrastructure, added FIEO DG and CEO Dr Ajay Sahai. fiinews.com
