Bengalore starts assembling iPhone 7
Taiwan’s Wistron is moving on with a US$105 million new manufacturing facility in the Karnataka state and has started assembling iPhone 7 from its Bengalore facility, adding to 6S model.
Wistron Infocomm Manufacturing India has assured the state government of creating 6,000 jobs at the new factory. The state government has approved the project.
The site is at Narasapura Industrial Area and within the vicinity of international groups, Honda Motorcycle, Scooter India and Mahindra Aerospace.
