Reimagine the world as a better place to live, says Multani
India has eliminated all the bottlenecks in the defence manufacturing sector and the Government has introduced complete transparency by opening it up to all investors, Minister of State for Defence, Ajay Bhatt, has said at an industry conclave.
Once an investor shows interest in a project, the Government would ensure that all the follow-ups happen in progressing with the investment.
Around 200 imported defence products are now reserved for manufacturers in India, especially from the two defence corridors in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. “This step would give a huge boost to the local industries,” he said at the ‘State Policy Conclave 2021: Role of states in making Aatmanirbhar Bharat’.
India is exporting defence products to around 75 countries at present, Bhatt also informed the conclave organised by PHDCCI on 7 Dec 2021.
While working for inclusive economic growth, there is also a need to think about sustainability, said PHDCCI President Pradeep Multani in his speech at the conclave.
“We should reimagine the world as a better place to live.”
Multani said PHDCCI welcomes the consultations and collaborations for making a robust and prosperous ecosystem for the country, organisation, members and their officials. fiinews.com
