Rs.5,491 crore Bikaner Project slated to commissioning by July 2024
SJVN Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), has signed a Power Usage Agreement (PUA) with Jammu & Kashmir Power Corporation Limited (JKPCL) for supply of 300 MW from the under-construction 1,000 MW Bikaner Solar https://www.isolaralliance.org/ Power Project in Rajasthan.
SJVN Chairperson & Managing Director Geeta Kapur informed that the Rs.5,491 crore Bikaner Solar Power Project https://unfccc.int/event/cop-27 is being developed under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) mode and is slated for commissioning by July 2024.
It is being developed by SJVN through SGEL under CPSU Scheme of IREDA https://www.ireda.in/home .
The power generated from the project will be used by government entities, either directly or through discoms.
