India’s logistics industry is at a pivotal moment, says Jain
The government is developing a National Logistics e-Marketplace which marks a significant leap in India’s logistics sector, integrating infrastructure, services, and government regulations into a unified B2B platform, said, Dr Surendra Ahirwar, Joint Secretary, Logistics, DPIIT, has told a national summit.
He also shared that the initiatives, driven by recent policy advancements like the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan and the National Logistics Policy, aims to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and foster competitive pricing in logistics services logistics.
Dr Ahirwar was addressing at PHDCCI’s 2nd edition of National Logistics Summit 2024 organised on 9 Aug 2024 with the theme of “Local to Global: Revolutionizing Indian Industry through Logistics Excellence nse .”
