UK company assures of data confidentiality

Inzpire Ltd has upgraded the software of its tablet-based mission device which makes it easy for fighter jet and helicopter pilots to manage in-flight operations.
It will present the upgraded tablet to the Indian Air Force which is always looking for latest in technology for improving pilot capability and capacities.
“The GECO tablet software is designed to improve mission effectiveness and safety during flights,” explained Alex Mitchell, head of Business Development at Inzpire, which is introducing “Revolution in Defence”.
Inzpire has submitted its proposal for the “electronic flight bag programme” to the IAF.
“We believe we have a fairly strong position as Inzpire has responded to the Indian’s request for information recently,” he said.
“We have designed the system for owners to host their nationally sensitive mapping and data on the tablet in a secure way,” Mitchell assured.
Inzpire will deliver the software while the hardware can be made in India. Following that, maps and data will be loaded on the system, maintaining “full confidentiality” for the sensitive information.
Inzpire will also provide training on the use of the tablet-based system as well as transfer technology to the right partner in India.
Mitchell is confident of working with Indian partners in the coming year and serve the Indian Air Force with Inzpire’s latest state-of-the-art technology.
The Inzpire tablets are being used by the UK military and the Royal Jordanian Air Force and the Indonesian Air Force on a number of Fixed and Rotary Wing aircraft. fiinews.com
