Gadkari sees automobile hub in Marathwada region
The Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Jalna will promote the export of Agro products and transform the Maharashtra city into automobile hub of Marathwada region, says Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
The Jalna MMLP will serve as a functional dry port of the region and Steel & Allied industries depending on scrap, Fruits and Vegetables processing units. The seed industries and cotton sector would hugely benefit from this development, he added.
It would act as a catalyst for development of Marathawada region and connect Samruddhi Marg and Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridors, he said after witnessing the signing of memorandum of understanding (MoU) National Highways Logistics Management Limited and Jawaharla Nehru Port Trust (JNPT).
