Euro 9 million of KfW credit line spent on clean energy projects
Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has also used US$73 million by 30 Nov 2022 of loan from multilateral agency ADB for Decentralized Solar and Electric Mobility.
The total sanctioned amount of ADB’s loan for ‘Decentralized Solar, Electric Mobility and Smart Meters’ is US$296 million, R.K. Singh, Minister for Power and New and Renewable Energy said in a written reply in Lok Sabha on 22 Dec 2022 on loan spending updates.
EESL has also used Euro 9 million by 30 Nov 2022 from KfW’s Euro 200 million loan of ‘Decentralized Solar and lighting’, he said.
The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) has utilized the Euro20 million loan from KfW, namely the KfW VI line of credit for financing ‘Access to Clean Energy Projects’ meant for decentralized solar applications.
