Company expects high demand for fibre optic transceivers
Cirencester-based ProLabs is expanding their European and India operations, covering supplies of fibre optic transceivers and high-speed cabling in international markets.
There has been significant new business across the UK, Germany, France and India, Jason Moate, Operations Director from ProLabs, said on 8 Dec 2020.
The business has grown by over 100% year on year. Due to this success, ProLabs has just increased their manufacturing facilities to support growth projections of 200% and have recently taken on additional local staff, he said.
“To keep pace with demand they are also planning to build on this expansion in 2021,” said Moate.
During this year, the company has seen a high demand for products across all of its markets.
“Although there is a greater need for our products in the current environment with many people and organisations working remotely, we have also gained market share as customers increase their demand for high quality, short lead times, and lower costs,” Moate said.
